Three killed, six injured in city violence


KARACHI: Three persons were killed and six others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Saturday.

Two young brothers, Fazal Karim, 21, son of Abdur Rahman and his brother and Shams Alam, 20, were shot dead while, Abdur Rahman, 55; Abdul Shakoor, 22; and Ayesha, 45, injured when unknown dacoits fired on them on resistance at their home in 51-D Bengali Para, Machi Morre in Korangi So Quarter area. The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for autopsies and treatment, respectively.

A man, Danish, aged about, 35, was killed and another Kamran, injured in armed clash between two groups near Nasir School in New Karachi. The body and injured were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).

Abdul Ghaffar, 40, son of Pir Muhammad, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Dastagir Hotel on Link Road. He was rushed to (JPMC) for treatment.

In another incident, a boy, Zubair, 18, son of Noor Muhammad, was wounded to bullets when unknown gunmen opened fire on him in Bacha Khan Chowk, Banarus. He was brought to ASH for treatment.
