Three killed, three injured in incidents


KARACHI: Three people killed and three others injured in different mishaps in the metropolis on Wednesday.

A labour, Dost Mohammad, 35, son of Gul Naveed was electrocuted during digging land near Tiger Kanta in Ghani Chowrangi, Shershah area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

16-year-old unknown boy was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him in Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

According to rescue sources, a youth, Mohammad Ali, 22, son of Ali Nawaz was drowned into a water tank in Mawach Goth Baldia Town area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for a postmortem.

A bike rider, Michel, 30, was critically injured when a car hit him at Awami Markaz, Shahrahe Faisal. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

In another road mishap, an unknown man, aged about, 55, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him near Nursery on Shahrahe Faisal. He was brought to JPMC for treatment.

Yet in another incident, Samiullah, 30, son of Abdul Aziz was injured when a vehicle hit his motorcycle in Gulbai Bridge, Mauripur. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
