Three killed, two injured in mishaps

KARACHI: Three persons including a child were killed and two others injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Thursday.

According to rescue sources, the body of unknown man was recovered from Pak Colony in Garden area. They said that dead man was wearing a hospital dress. It was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and after completing necessary legal formalities it was shifted to CHK morgue.

A youth, Arshad Ali, 25, son of Mohammad Hussain, was electrocuted at his home in Maachar Colony, Agra Taj in Lyari. The body was shifted to CHK for an autopsy.

In another incident, four-years-old, Madiha daughter of Amjad, was injured after falling from the roof of her home in Rerhi Goth, Landhi. She was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) where doctors declared dead.

In a road mishap, two youth, Ghulam Sarwar, 25, son of Ghulam Nabi and Rashid, 25, son of Ghulam Qadir were injured when a speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle in Saleh Mohammad Goth in Malir area. They were rushed to JPMC for treatment.
