Two killed, two injured in Karachi

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and two others injured in different violence incidents here on Wednesday.

An unknown youth, aged about 20, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Bilal Chowrangi in Korangi Town. The deceased was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.

In another incident, an unidentified youth, aged about 22, was found dead from Shah Faisal Nullah. According to rescue sources, some people found the dead body from the Nullah and shifted it to Sindh government Korangi Hospital No 5 for medico-legal formality.

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Mohammad of Korangi I/A informed that an unknown dead body was found from Malir Naddi, Gulzar Colony. He said the victim seemed to be killed in firing. The body was shifted to Sindh Government hospital Korangi.

Yet in another incident, a man Sheeraz, 30, son of Mohammad Saleem, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Khanzada Hotel, Kalri in Lyari. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

In another incident, on Akram Malik, 50, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men in Nazimabad No 2 area. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
