Woman among five killed in Karachi

KARACHI: A women among five people were killed in different violence incidents here on Wednesday. A man, identified as 40-year-old Ijaz Shah, was killed in Mianwali Colony, Manghopir, where unidentified armed motorcyclist fired shots on his car. He died on the spot. The body was shifted to ASH for a postmortem.

Separately, the bodies of two men packed in gunny bags were found from the Mewashah Graveyard near Garden Rexer Bridge. The victims were identified as Mohsin, 22, and Habib, 25, residents of Pakistan Quarters. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

The mutilated body of an unidentified woman, aged 40, was found packed in gunny bag in Rashidabad, New Karachi Sector 4. It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

Another man lost his life in a firing incident that took place in Liaquatabad. The victim was shifted to ASH for an autopsy. The identity of the body could not be ascertained.
