Youth of Karachi deprived of jobs: MQM

KARACHI: The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said the merit killing and negligence of talent caused not only Karachiites but overall the entire country as the brain drain continued.

It said the youth of Karachi had same right to get employments in federal and provincial governments as other parts of the country’s youth had.

The committee indicated that youth had got frustrated because of insecure financial future despite their ultimate merit. It said to deprive them caused cultivating loathes among the youth, which might lead to chaos in the country.

It said Karachiites were already deprived by quota system which was a reverse discrimination to any merit.

The Coordination Committee demanded of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other authorities to stop discriminating Karachi’s youths. It also demanded of the Prime Minister to take notice of neglecting Karachi’s youth.
