KARACHI: On the recommendation of Deputy Commissioner Sanghar and Khairpur and endorsed by respective Divisional Commissioners, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has declared seven Dehs of District Sanghar and 14 Dehs of District Khairpur as calamity hit areas. The Dehs of Sanghar include Ranhao, Ranak of Taluka Khipro, Rar, Chotiarion, Bakar, Thar Sareji, Sianwari, where 42050 population have been effected are declared calamity hit.
While Dehs Registan Jubo, Kathgarah, Santrahoo, Bhit Tharooji, Razoo Bhambhro, Sarhadano, Dauji, Ilyaswari, Bhit Bhungewari, Kandri, Ladhahoo, Taj Muhammad Mullo, Bux Ali Aradin, Gulab Bhambhro where 39174 people have also been declared as calamity-hit areas by Chief Minister Sindh.
Chief Minister Sindh has directed the relevant Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to provide immediate relief goods, food items and healthcare facilities to the people of the affected areas.
He also directed them for provision of fodder for the animals in the calamity-declared areas on war footing basis. Sindh Chief Minister also directed Coordinator to CM Sindh Taj Haider to monitor the relief activities in calamity declared areas of District Sanghar and Khairpur.
