Karachi: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Labour Asghar Ali Junejo expressed displeasure over the absence of employees of Valika hospital and directed its Medical Superintendent to suspend all the employees who were absent from duty.
This he directed while paying surprise visit of Valika Hospital in SITE area on Thursday.
He visited various sections of the hospital and expressed his displeasure over the poor hygiene condition of the hospital. He was informed that 70 sweepers were required for the hospital but only 27 sweepers were working.
The advisor issued instructions to appoint sweepers on daily wages in order to overcome the shortage. He was apprised by the Medical Superintendent about the shortage of midwives and other problems. The l Advisor assured to resolve all these problems.
