KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh on Tuesday flayed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for stopping Malala Yousafzai’s book launching ceremony in Peshawar University.
In a statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz Karachi, Chairman ANP Sindh organizing committee, Altaf Khan Advocate, said that by stopping book launching ceremony, KP government had shown its ugly face itself. “By this act PTI government has not only committed illegal interference in an educational institute but also harassed respected teachers and students of the university,” he added.
He accused PTI government of following the agenda of snatching books from the hands of Pakhtun children and making them slaves of terrorists. “All moderate forces of the country know that PTI is working on a secret agenda, while its provincial government has bowed down before terrorists,” he said.
He also criticized PTI Chairman Imran Khan and said that he was just doing a drama by condemning his party government on its wrongdoings.
