ANP starts party election process in Sindh


KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh has started party internal election process on union council level after completion of membership campaign across the province, said a statement, issued from Bacha Khan Markaz Karachi on Monday.

It said that a meeting of the party’s all provincial organizing committees was held at Mardan House and chaired by Chairman provincial organizing committee, Altaf Khan Advocate. The meeting discussed matters related to party election in the province.

Later, talking to media, Altaf Khan said that party had started internal election process on union council level after completion of membership campaign in Sindh province.

He paid rich tribute to party workers for full participation in the membership campaign despite threats of target killings and other terror incidents. He directed the district organizing committees to speed up the election process at union council level so the election process at district level could be started on due time.
