KARACHI: Social leader Dr Shamim Ansari appealed to Sindh government and Bahria Town owner Malik Riaz to help in construction of a trauma charitable hospital in Hyderabad.
This she said while addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club on Monday. Fatima Surayya Bajia was also present on the occasion.
She said that poor people do not have access to hospitals because of their weak financial conditions. If a patient goes to the hospital, he has to pay huge amount of unaffordable money to get proper treatment.
She asked Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to grant a plot for establishment of trauma charitable hospital at Qasimabad in Hyderabad.
She also requested Pakistani business tycoon Malik Riaz to help them in constructing the building of the hospital.
Bajia said that it is the right time that we think for the benefits of our country being a Pakistani and nothing else. “We need to work hard with unity for the prosperity of our country. I firmly believe that Malik Riaz will help for the construction of the hospital.”
