Exhibition of Bhutto’s photos opened


KARACHI: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh for Culture & Tourism Sharmila Faruqi inaugurated a photo exhibition of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at Frere Hall Karachi on Thursday.

On this occasion, she said was a man took a firm stand against dictator Zia ul Haq, adding Bhutto’s sacrifices for democracy are remarkable.

She said the reason behind holding this exhibition is show our new generation scarifies of Bhutto. In the exhibition more than 200 photos of Bhutto have been displayed. Sharmila said today another dictator is running away from prosecutions and want flee from Pakistan

She paid homage to Zulfikar Bhutto for his services to cause of poor and downtrodden people and for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. “He awakened political consciousness‚ self-respect and self-confidence among the people. He believed that the people were the real repository of power.”

The 35th martyrdom anniversary of founding Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party and former Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will be observed on April 4 (Friday).
