KARACHI: A man was crushed to death by a train engine near Drigh Road railway station on Sunday evening, railway police said. Duty officer at Drigh Road railway police station, ASI Ishfaq Memon, said that the victim, aged 30-35 years, was crossing train track when an engine ran over him. As a result, he was cut into pieces and died on the spot.
The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities and handed over to Edhi morgue, Sohrab Goth.
