Rangers apprehend 24 criminals

Karachi: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday arrested 24 criminals in various raids and recovered weapons from their possession. Rangers spokesman Maj Syed Sibtain said targeted raids were conducted in Landhi Number 1 & 5, Sunny Heights – Johar Morr, Hasanabad – Shah Faisal Colony, Nazimabad Number 2, Liaquatabad, Kumaila Stop & Ali Muhammad Mohalla-Lyari, Hangora Goth, Sector 7 – Orangi Town, Khamosh Colony, Lines Area, Usmanabad, Power House & Reta Plot – Shah Faisal Colony and Moeenabad – Malir areas in the wee hours.

The rangers also carried out snap checking at Ahmed Food Street – SITE, Taqwa Mosque – Gulberg, Water Pump Chowrangi and Ali Imambargah – Orangi Town areas.

He said during the raids 24 criminals including Lyari gang war elements have been arrested, while weapons including LMG, G-3, SMGs and mixed ammo were also recovered from their custody.
