KARACHI: Senator Rehman Malik on Thursday called on Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan at Governor House in Karachi and exchanged views over maintenance of harmony in Sindh province.
It was admitted at the meeting that the province was facing challenge of terrorism, hence, it was mandatory for all parties in the province to play their due role to tackle that challenge and raise awareness among massed to counter terrorism.
“This issue is hitting whole nation, therefore, a complete unity is the need of the hour to tackle it,” they said.
During the meeting, concern was shown over the killing of anti-polio volunteers by terrorists. They said that volunteers were busy in making efforts to save the future of the nation and the country.
They saluted those volunteers who sacrificed their lives. They also vowed to thwart any pressure for making Sindh free of polio, while terrorists would be dealt with iron hands.
