KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter President Sardar Nadar Akmal Khan Laghari on Saturday asked Supreme Court of Pakistan to lodge murder case against Chief Minister Sindh and his cabinet members for deaths of innocent people of district Tharparker.
He was addressing an emergency party meeting, called on direction of Party Chairman Imran Khan for provision of immediate aid to famine affected people of Tharparker, here at PTI provincial secretariat.
He said that Sindh government was responsible for casualties in Tharparker which had left the victim alone and on the mercy of hunger and poverty. “This kind of merciless rulers are not deserve any concession so the Supreme Court should arrest them and give them harsh punishment,” he added.
He said that corrupt Sindh government had turned the province into Mohenjo-Daro and had forced the people to commit suicide. “People are dying due to poverty and hunger while the rulers are busy in wantonness and corruption,” he said and added that the rulers had become hateful for the people.
He told the meeting that PTI Sindh General Secretary MPA Hafizuddin had reached to Tharparker, visited different hospital of Umer Kot and Mithi and distributed fruits.
He said that Hafizuddin would supervise distribution of aid sending by PTI. He said that PTI would not leave people of Tharparker alone in this difficult time and would fully help them.
