Three ‘extortionists’ remanded in police custody

Karachi: Anti-Terrorism Court-I (ATC-I) on Monday remanded three activists of a banned outfit, Qadir Mohammad, Abdul Karim and Syed Mohammad Junaid, in police custody till 08 December in money extortion case.

Police produced the alleged extortionists in police mobile before ATC-I Judge Bashir Ahmed Khoso under tight security.

According to the prosecution, the accused had demanded Rs1,000,000 protection money from Syed Ali Manzer and extended him threats of killing in case of non-payment.
