Two killed, four injured in Karachi incidents


KARACHI: Two people were killed and four others injured in separate incidents in the city on Wednesday.

According to rescue sources, one person was killed and another injured when a speeding car hit them at Shahrah-e-Faisal near Natha Khan bus stop.

The identities of the victims could not be ascertained yet. The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy and treatment respectively.

In another incident, a speeding rickshaw overturned near Rubi Morr in Baldia Colony, injuring driver, Akbar, 25, son of Ali. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.

Moreover, a man was found dead near Rexer Line Bridge. He died after consuming excessive drugs. The identity of victim could not be ascertained yet. The body was shifted to a morgue after legal formalities.

Unidentified armed men opened fire in Gulistan Colony in Lyari, injuring a youth and a minor boy. The injured were identified as Mohammad Zada, 20, son of Hasan Zada and Abdullah, 4, son of Javed. They were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
