Two ‘target killers’ remanded to rangers custody

Karachi: Anti-Terrorism Court-II (ATC-II) on Monday remanded two alleged target killer, Riyasatullah and Mohammad Ayub, to rangers’ custody for 90 days in different murder cases.

Rangers produced the alleged target killers before ATC-II Judge under tight security. This is first time that rangers had produced target killers in the court.

Sachal Rangers had submitted the application for 90 days to jail custody and further investigation about the case which was accepted.

Rangers’ lawyer told to media that according to October 2013 Anti-Terrorism Court Section II EEEE rangers have an authority to hold captive in jail custody.

Accused Riyasatullah told the court currently he is employee at the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board and Mohammad Ayub is peon at a private school.
