President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has urged all political parties to stand united joining hands to promote the Kashmir cause.

He made these remarks while talking to a delegation of Jammat Islami Azad Kashmir led by its Amir Dr Muhammad Mushtaq Khan which called on him in Islamabad.

While referring to the worsening political and human rights situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir, he said at this critical juncture, all parties should redouble their efforts to get rid of Indian occupation.

The president lauded Jamaat-e-Islami for playing its role in highlighting the Kashmir issue in an effective manner.

He said in view of the highly volatile situation in the region, there is a dire need to apprise the international community about the importance of an early and amicable solution to the Kashmir dispute in line with the UNSC resolutions.
