Indonesian Deputy Minister calls for increasing Pakistan-Indonesia trade volume

Indonesian Deputy Minister for Trade and Exports Development, Bapak Didi Sumedi says there is a lot of potential for enhancement of trade relations between Pakistan and Indonesia.

Talking to APP in Jakarta, he said bilateral trade volume between the two countries is not in line with the potential which needs to be further increased.

Didi Sumedi said there is already a Preferential Trade Agreement between Pakistan and Indonesia and they may also finalize a Free Trade Agreement to further strengthen bilateral trade.

He said after signing the proposed Free Trade Agreement, there is a possibility that the current bilateral trade volume of four billion dollars will reach up to ten billion dollars per year.
