Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the people of Pakistan will resist any populist fascist leader of today as they have resisted the dictators in the past.

Addressing the concluding session of the two-day International Parliamentary Convention in Islamabad on Thursday, he said we faced some of the worst examples of authoritarianism but we never every gone outside the domain of the Constitution.

It is a moment of pain for every peace loving, democratic and patriotic Pakistan that at a time when Pakistan is facing the toughest economic challenges, a few populist and anarchists have made the country hostage of political wrangling.

The Foreign Minister said our Constitution and law are being challenged by a narrow populist fascist political party that has decided to take up arms against the state of Pakistan. He said we must act together to preserve and protect of Constitution.
