LAHORE: The-day Second LCCI OIC Ambassadors and Trade Conference-2014 is starting on Friday, April 11.The Ambassadors of all the OIC member countries, leading businessmen, top government functionaries, banking experts are taking part in this mega event.
The Conference would be inaugurated by the President of Pakistan Mr Mamnoon Hussain while Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir, Advisor to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi, DG Institute of Strategic Studies Dr Rasul Baksh Rais, LCCI President Engineer Sohail Lashari, Senior Vice President Mian Tariq Misbah, Vice President Kashif Anwar, President Bank Alfalah Atif Bajwa, renowned businessman Almas Haider are among the speakers.
Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) would give Welcome Dinner to the participants on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on April 11 while governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar would host a dinner on April 12 at Governor House.
LCCI president Engineer Sohail Lashari would present the joint Declaration on the culmination of the proceedings of the conference.
All the issues being faced by the Islamic world with respect to the mutual trade would be discussed to evolve a solution and expedite trade. Two rounds of B2B meetings would also be held to enable the private sectors of the OIC states to share their strengths and weaknesses.
