First Women Bank President to chair Challenges for Economy & Banks Beyond 2014 conference

Lahore: Daily The Pak Banker: world’s second and Pakistan’s first banking daily: is organizing its half-day conference “Challenges for Economy & Banks Beyond 2014” on Thursday (today) at 3pm at Carlton Hotel: Karachi.

Ms Charmaine Hidayatullah: acting president/CEO of the First Women Bank Limited will be the Chairperson of the event.

AB Shahid: former senior banker: author/columnist; Majyd Aziz noted businessman and President of MHG Group of Companies; Haroon Askari: Director General of Karachi Stock Exchange; Shehryar Qaisarani: Executive Vice President: National Bank of Pakistan; Ibne Hasan: VP/Head of the Corporate Communication and Brand management: NBP; Salma Ahmed: ex-president and founder of Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Karachi: Mehreen Ilahi: CEO of Majmua Art Gallery and former TV are among the eminent speakers of the conference.

It is worth noting that Daily Pak Banker is the world’s second and Pakistan’s first banking daily. Five years ago: Mr Ajmal Shahdin founded this specialized newspaper in Lahore with the motto to promote banking sector along with other sectors of economy: culture and image of Pakistan. The newspaper had been introduced gradually in Karachi and Islamabad as well.

Currently: the newspaper is being published simultaneously from Karachi: Lahore and Islamabad. It is the premier newspaper of the banking sector in Pakistan.
