LAHORE: Indian Trade Delegates have started arriving Lahore to showcase their products at the India show which is being organized at the Expo Center Lahore from 14 to 16th February 2014. On the sidelines of India show, the trade delegates during their stay in Pakistan will hold trade talks with the Pakistani business community on bilateral trade issues.
More than 100 companies are likely to participate in the show with display and sale of Indian goods and services. The exhibitors from different sectors including gems and jewelry, automobile components, readymade garments, textile and handloom, imitation jewelry, wedding concept pavilion, home appliances, food products, pharmaceutical ingredients, fragrances and flavours and industrial paint manufacturers will put their products on display. A large number of people are expected to visit the show. This kind of trade activity between the two countries is a healthier sign of trade promotion which provides an opportunity to the business community from both sides to learn from each other experiences.
Meanwhile, a high level business delegation led by Senior Vice President Federation of India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will also be visiting Pakistan alongside. The delegates would be interacting with the Pakistani business community on trade matters.
