Lahore: Candidate for President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Mian Anjum Nisar and Chairman PIAF Malik Tahir Javed have termed the Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif’s visit to China a big stride towards economic stability of the country.
In a statement issued here Saturday, Mian Anjum Nisar and Malik Tahir Javed said that Prime Minister’s visit to China would not only start a new era of cooperation between the two friendly countries but would also play a vital role in economic uplift of Pakistan.
They said that agreements of $ 35 billion between the two countries would pave way for early completion of power projects in the country and would also create new job opportunities.
They said that China is a time-tested friend and a very important partner in Pakistan Economic Development and bilateral trade. The involvement of Chinese enterprises, both in terms of Technical and Financial assistance in several development projects is reflective of our cordial relations based on mutual trust and sincerity.
They said that China is the third largest trading partner of Pakistan and it is expected that bilateral trade between Pakistan and China will touch the figure of $ 15 billion within the next few years.
They hoped that Prime Minister’s visit to China would be one of the most successful visits.
