OIC condemns terrorist bomb attack on tourist bus in Egypt

Jeddah The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the most vigorous terms the terrorist bomb blast, which targeted a tourist bus in Cairo, near Egypt's Grand Museum on Sunday, causing injuries among some tourists and Egyptian citizens.

In a statement, OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed AlOthaimeen wished a prompt recovery to the victims of the incident and reaffirmed the full solidarity of the Organization with Egypt in its fight against terrorism. He also underlined that such heinous criminal act will only consolidate the steadfastness of Egypt and the Egyptian people, and their determination to eradicate the terrorist formations and groupings that seek to destabilize the country and cause prejudice to its security and stability.

The Secretary General renewed the OIC's principled and unwavering stand which condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, irrespective of its source.
