Local traders observes strike against brutal assassination of local traders

Sialkot: In Pasrur the local traders observed complete strike as a protest against the overnight’s brutal assassination of two local traders Hafiz Muhammad Sajjad and Tayyub by some unknown accused including the brother-in-law of the slain traders in Main Bazaar Pasrur city.

The protesting traders wore the black arms bandages and they rallied on various city roads to lodge strong protest against these brutal murders, demanding immediate arrest of the accused.

Slain trader Muhammad Sajjad’s father Muhammad Ramzan was also injured seriously in this ambush and he was admitted at Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial teaching Hospital Sialkot in critical condition. Inspector Riazul Haq (SHO Pasrur City police station) told the newsmen at Pasrur here today that the slain traders’ Narowal based brother-in-law Chaand Butt killed them for not allowing his(Chaand) divorced wife to go with him.

The reason behind this double murder was stated to be a family dispute. DSP Pasrur Mian Absar Ahmed told that the police was raiding at various places to ensure the early arrest of the killers, in this regard. Later, both of the slain traders, today, were laid to arrest in their native graveyard in Pasrur city, in the presence of hundreds of the mourners from all walks of life.
