U.N says it is still denied ‘effective access’ to Myanmar’s Rakhine

The country head of United Nations for Myanmar has said that the UN is still denied effective access to Myanmar's Rakhine region where 700,000 Rohingya Muslims were driven out in an army crackdown.

Earlier, UN agencies for development and refugees signed a memorandum of understanding with Aung San Suu Kyi's government in this regard but they offered access to a limited area.
