OIC condemns latest Kabul suicide attack

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the series of violence in Afghanistan, the latest of which was Monday's suicide attack on a peaceful demonstration in Kabul, where at least six people were killed and scores of others seriously injured.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the OIC reiterated its principled position in rejecting and denouncing all forms of violent extremism and terrorism.

OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen conveyed the Muslim Ummah's profound sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and people of Afghanistan.
