One gunned down near Al-Asif Square


KARACHI: A man was gunned down and four other injured in separate acts of violence in the city on Wednesday. Faizullah, 25, was gunned down by unknown armed assailants near Al-Asif Square Indus Plaza within the remit of Sohrab Goth police station. The body was shifted to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital ASH for an autopsy. Police said that the victim was resident of Waziristan. He was targeted when he was on way to Supermarket. No FIR was lodged till filing this story.

Muhammad Ismail, 30, was wounded when unknown armed men opened fire in Machhar Colony within the jurisdiction of Sohrab Goth police station. The injured was rushed to ASH for treatment.

Police told that the victim was residential of Noman Colony. The reason behind the firing could not be ascertained. No FIR was lodged till filing this story.

Muhammad Islam, 45, son of Ghulam Muhammad was shot and wounded near Punjab Roundabout within the remit of Defense police station. Injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for treatment.

He was resident of Korangi. Police told that victim offered resistance to muggers in a result he was shot and injured. FIR could not be lodged till filling this news.

Ibrahim, 25, son Ghulam Hussain was injured when unknown miscreants opened fire in Bihar Colony within the jurisdiction of Chakiwara police station near Makki Mosque street No 6, Lyari. The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi CHK for treatment.

Police said that victim fought with unknown persons. He received one bullet in his neck. The case was registered and police started further investigation.

Sharif, 45, son of Muhammad Ali, was injured near Sector 5B 3, New Karachi. He was rushed to ASH for treatment.
