Pak-Turk should start serving masses in the valley: President AJK

Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that Turkish educational institutions should start their operations in the valley.

We see education as the most valuable Turkish contribution in the region which will go a long way in bringing people out of poverty and empowering them to live a successful like. The President AJK said that educational institutions should lay special emphasis on imparting computer technology to better equip leaders of tomorrow.

Computers have become an essential tool for students, it also empowers teachers to enable them to enhance learning of students, he added. Speaking on the occasion, Farzana Yaqoob, Minister of Social Welfare AJK and former deputy speaker of the National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi said that using computers develops knowledge of the Internet and skills that will help students throughout their lives and careers.

At the occasion, Director Education Pak-Turk Kamil Ture, Director Planning and development Turgut Puyan, Ahmet Efiturk and others said that a whole world of opportunities open up for computer literates as there is no sector that has been left untouched by computers. They said that they would seriously consider expansion of educational services to the AJK.
