Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques and imam of the Grand Mosque, received President of Pakistan Ulema Council Sheikh Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi in Makkah on Monday.
During the meeting, Sheikh Al-Sudais praised the role of Pakistani religious scholars in maintaining moderation policies. He said Pakistanis have a great place in his heart and that Saudi Arabia has a strong historical relationship with Pakistan.
Earlier, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed Saleh Taher Benten also held a meeting with Sheikh Ashrafi, during which the latter hailed the great efforts made by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque and its caring for the pilgrims in order to perform the Hajj rituals in comfort and tranquility. He also congratulated King Salman on the outstanding success of this year's pilgrimage season.
