A crackdown against illegal gas connections is in full swing in Kohat

Peshawar: On the special directives of General Manager Sui Northern Gas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Arbab Saqib and Divisional Engineer Kohat, Rehan Khan, a crackdown against illegal gas connections is in full swing in Kohat under the supervision of a local raiding team comprising of Assistant Engineer Nasir Khan, Supervisor Sir Buland Khan, Shakeel Khan and Alauddin. The team after disconnecting various illegal connections from the urban areas of Kohat, also extended its activities to the suburb and rural areas of the district.

The team alongwith SHO Lachi Gul Janan and personnel of police and levy, raided Lachi Bazar and 30 illegal commercial gas connections of hotels, backers, workshops, bank, medical stores and shops were disconnected and cases were referred to police for registration against Raziq Khan, Malik Abdul Waheed, Amin Islam, NBP, Abdullah, Tahir Khan, Haji Waheed, Habib, Rehmat Ali, Taj Ali, Jamshed Khan, Fazal Shah, Abdullah Jan, Badshah Gul, Danish, Samiullah Shah, Muhammad Qadeer, Iqbal, Bashir Khan, Muhammad Hayat Khan, Sanaullah, Arshad Iqbal, Abbas Khan, Akhtar Munir, Raja Amjad Khan, Sabir Khan, Hawaldar Khan, Akhtar Munir son of Mashal Khan, Muhammad Saleem and Muhammad Ibrar.

The SNGPL authorities have warned that gas theft will not be tolerated at any cost and stern action against such elements would be taken. They declared that there would be no concession with gas thieves and the crackdown campaign would continue with same spirit.
