Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader district Kohistan Aafareen Khan along with his supporters announced joining All Pakistan Muslim League here at Press Club in the presence of APML leaders on Monday.
Speaking at a news conference at Press Club, he reposed confidence in APML after quitting basic membership of his party. The APML leaders including the provincial president Aurangzeb Mohmand, president Peshawar Imtiaz Hasan Tanoli, provincial vice president Shah Nazar and provincial general secretary, Sir Mir Khan were present.
Welcoming the new comers into APML, Aurangzeb Mohmand appreciated former president General Retd Pervez Musharraf government for its positive policies and maintaining law and order situation. He said there was no load shedding but now the unannounced load shedding had made the lives of people miserable.
He said President Musharraf came back to Pakistan to serve people but he was implicated in baseless cases but he expressed the hope these cases would soon end.
Like those of the previous governments, he said the sitting rulers were interested in prolonging their rules and had nothing to do with the solution of people problems. The rampant corruption, he said had made the life difficult and those making tall claims of Change could not implement their slogans.
