Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has strongly condemned bomb blast in Sabzi Mandi, Islamabad, and termed it gruesome and inhuman act of the anti-state and anti-nation elements. In a condemnation message issued here on Wednesday, he stressed the need for high-level investigation and analysis of such issues. He said that targeting of the capital city of the motherland and crowded public place by terrorists in wake of the current peace process spells out alarming situation and leaves a question mark for security and particularly for our intelligence agencies, whose number is not less but large.
Pervez Khattak prayed for the eternal peace of those killed in the heinous terror incident and early recovery of the injured. He also expressed sympathies with the affected families. He said that the terror acts anywhere in the country are making us aggrieved as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also remained victim of this menace, which besides inflicting heavy human losses had also played havoc with our economy.
The KP chief minister said that other than heavy human and material losses, terrorists can ever never succeed in accomplishment of their nefarious designs. He said that Pakistani nation is innocent and rightful, which always remain triumphant and the world history is testimony to this fact.
