CM condoles with Afghans on landslide incident in Badakhshan


Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has expressed deep shock and sorrow over

catastrophic incident of landslide at village Ab-bareek in Badakhshan province of Afghanistan that claimed thousands of people and rendered thousands of families homeless.

He behalf of his provincial govt and people of KP expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with victims’ families, Afghans, President Hamid Karzai, Badakhshan Governor Shah Waliullah Adeeb and Vice Governor Gul Muhammad Bedar. Pervez Khattak said the govt and people of KP equally felt the grief and shock of their Afghan brethren on such human tragedy. He also expressed sorrow over loss of hundreds of precious lives and injuring others in flash floods and rains in Argo district of same province as well as in other provinces of Jozjan, Faryab and Suraypul. He prayed for eternal peace of departed souls and early recovery of the injured.
