Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of senior journalist and chief editor Nawa-e-Waqt group Majeed Nizami. In condolence message Chief Minister said that his contribution towards promotion of journalism in the country would be remembered for a long time.
Chief Minister lauded that his sudden death is great loss that created vacuum in the country and media which cannot be filled for a long time. He paid glowing tributes to late Majeed Nizami on his meritorious contributions towards objective journalism and public opinion moulding.
He prayed to Allah Almighty for grant of eternal peace to the departed soul and patience and courage to his bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience. Meanwhile Chief Minister has also condoled on demise of the father of Ex-MNA Abdul Akbar Chitrali and father of Secretary Kisan Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farhad Ali. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed sympathies with members of the bereaved families.
