Competent authority constitutes a Procurement Committee for Inter City Bus Scheduling System

Peshawar: The competent authority has constituted a Procurement Committee for Inter/Intra City Bus Operations/Automated Fare collection Bus Scheduling System in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to details, Secretary Transport & Mass Transit Department will be Chairman of the aforesaid committee and Director Transport will act as its Member/Secretary, while Dr. Ravid Khan, NIUIP, UET Peshawar, Coordinator PPP Unit, P&D Department, Additional Secretary Local Government Department, DIG Traffic Peshawar, Senior Traffic Peshawar, Senior Transport Specialist, UPU P&D Department and any other co-opted member will be its members.

The committee will oversee all matters related to procurement in all stages, approve the procurement as per the delegation of financial powers and to constitute technical sub committees on need basis as and when required, says a notification issued here by the Transport & Mass Transit Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
