Peshawar: Deputy Commissioner Kohat Cap R) Kamran Ahmad Afridi has distributed 18 Cheques amounting to Rs. 5.4 million amongst the heirs of the Peshawar Chowk Kohat and FR Kohat Bumb Blasts victims at DC’s house Kohat on Thursday. Beside others, Accounts Officer Said Rasool Khattak was also present on the occasion.
Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families, the Deputy Commissioner Kohat said that the whole nation is grieved over the loss of precious lives in terrorism.
He added that there was no substitute to the life of human-being, but this petty money was basically the expression of sympathy from government side and a message that the affected families were not alone in this critical juncture but the whole nation is with them.
Kamran Afridi on this occasion prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of martyred. He also met with the injured persons one by one and enquired after their health.
