Hamdard Foundation donates five million for earthquake affectees

Peshawar: Hamdard Foundation Pakistan has donated an amount of five million rupees for rehabilitation of the recent earthquake victims of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A cheque of this amount was handed over to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak here today by Dr. Mahum Munir Ahmad, wife of the founder of Hamdard Foundation and the former Governor Sindh Hakeem Muhammad Saeed (late).

The provincial law minister Imtiaz Shahid Quershi and the Vice Chairperson of the foundation and daughter of Hakeem Mohammad Saeed, Sadia Rashid were also present on this occasion.

The Chief Minister Pervez Khattak appreciated the philanthropic spirit of Hamdard foundation and hoped that the donation would help mitigate the sufferings of the earthquake–affected people. He thanked the foundation for contributing to the provincial government’s endeavours for the rehabilitation of the victims.
