Peshawar: In order to standardize school’s uniform in Government Schools and making the Government schools more attractive, a one day consultative seminar was held in a local hotel at Peshawar on Wednesday. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Education Mohammad Atif Khan was the chief guest on this occasion.
The seminar beside others, was also attended by the Secretary Education Ali Raza Bhutta, Special Secretary Atif-ur-Rahman, Additional Secretary Qaiser Alam, Director Education Mohammad Rafiq Khattak, experts of respective fields and representatives of parents and teachers in large number.
Participants of the seminar, on this occasion, presented their proposals and recommendations on the topic and they were of the view that change in government schools uniform and colour of government schools was must for providing children friendly atmosphere to the students.
Addressing the seminar, the Education Minister maintained that final decision on change of government schools uniform and unanimous colour of schools would be taken after active consultation of all the stake-holders. He added that traditions of the Province would be kept intact in this regard.
