People of KP once again express their full confidence over PTI, Minister

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Mineral Development, Ziaullah Afridi has said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have once again expressed their full confidence over PTI through the vote in largest ever elections.

Although, he added that certain disgruntled politicians have tried their best to damage PTI image among public through baseless criticism and have taken every possible measure for pre-poll rigging but they badly failed in their designs.

In a statement, issued here on Monday, the Minister said that the selfish politicians would have come to know the masses have now become aware politically due to peaceful struggle of Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf and they could not be deceived more through false promises.

While talking about allegations tagged about the rigging in local government elections, he said, the politicians rejected by people were making a notice of rigging.

They should go to election commission for the purpose. He further said that PTI believes, in politics based on principles, that was why it has taken such bold step to present itself before the masses.

But the political parties criticizing PTI performance never appeared in the court of masses due to their bad performance so they did not hold local bodies elections in the province.

He also made it clear that the devolution of powers to the grass root level was the first ever demand of real democratic system. But unfortunately the masses were deprived of their fundamental right, which has proved the selfishness of the politicians, he maintained.
