Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced its full supports for JI candidate contesting in by election for PK-95 Lower Dir while Jamat-e-Islami decided to vote for PTI candidate on vacant Senate seat from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The decision was announced by JI Amir Sirajul Haq along with PTI spokesperson Member National Assembly Aisha Gulalai and provincial minister Ziaullah Afridi after a meeting held at Markaz-e-Islami on Wednesday.
Siraj said that he is thankful to PTI for supporting JI candidate in Today’s by election on PK-95 lower Dir saying that JI will vote for Azam Swati in Senate election to fill the seat fallen vacant with the death of Azam Khan Hotti. Aisha Gulalai appealed to PTI supports to vote in favour of Ezazul Mulk Afkari, JI candidate for PK-95.
Amir Jamat-e-Islami on this occasion said that JI had always opined that secret agencies of India were behind the destabilization activities in Pakistan. He said that Pakistani Army now has also noticed that RAW and other foreign secret agencies are behind the destabilization acts in Pakistan. He said terrorism is not a issue of any single party rather it is a national issue and now all political parties and armed forces are on one page against the meanness of terrorism.
Siraj condemned the publication of sacrilegious caricatures in USA asking the western powers to stop perpetrators of such acts.
Regarding election, he said that Election Commission should employee permanent workers as ROs to ensure free and fair election adding that in the previous election Forms 14 and 15 were not properly filled that made the process of suspicious.
