Shooting of partridges to be permissible from 15th Nov, 2015 till 7th Feb, 2016


Peshawar: Chief Conservator Wildlife Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar has notified that shooting of partridges including See-See partridge, Black partridge, Grey partridge and Chakur partridge will be permissible in the province with effect from Sunday 15th November, 2015 till Sunday 7th February, 2016. The hunting of partridges will be allowed in all areas of the province except the following game reserves.

Bagh in Totalai of District Buner, Rakh  Sardaran of District Haripur, Darmalak, Toi Banda, Choda and Chukhto of District Kohat and Shinawari of District Hangu.  Hunting shall not be allowed in protected areas except game reserves, private game reserves and  community game reserves. Hunting shall be permissible only on Sundays and gazetted holidays.

The following fee will be charged for various licenses/special permits during 2015-16 shooting season until revised otherwise. Small game shooting license Rs. 2000/- per annum, special permit for shooting in a game reserve Rs. 2000/- per day and possession license for  dog Rs. 250/- per annum.
