Tribal people are more important than atom bomb for country’s defence, Siraj

Peshawar: Amir Jamat-e-Islami Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Sirajul Haq has said for country’ defence tribal people are more important atomic bomb therefore their honourable returned would be crucial to solve the problems.

Addressing a function of distribution of Eid Packages among 500 IDPs of North Waziristan at Markaz-e-Islami Peshawar on Saturday Siraj said this is disgraceful that honourable tribal people to keep them waiting in lines for food therefore they should be sent back to their home as soon as possible.

Siraj while criticizing government policies said due to flawed policies of Islamabad millions of tribal people have to leave their homes and live a miserable life in IDP camps therefore the rulers would be held accountable for such ‘failed’ policies.

“ After revelations of ex-PM Gillani and other leaders this in now cleared that important government policies have been prepared somewhere else instead of Islamabad. This is deplorable despite passage of 67 years of Pakistan’s independence important policies are being constituted in Washington,” he observed.

He said Tribal are more patriotic than those living in Islamabad and despite their agonies the tribal children are still sung National Anthem of Pakistan in IDP camps which shows their love with this country.

Siraj said discrimination has been done with the people of Fata and they have been deprived of all facilities including higher education as there is no university for the people of Fata.

He expressed optimism that peace could be restored if government trust tribal people and take them in to confidence. He urged a development system for Fata must be devised with consultation of people of Fata.

The function was also addressed by JI KP acting chief Shabir Ahmad Khan, AKF provincial president Noor-ul-Haq and AKF district Chief Khalid Waqas Chamkani.
