Two brothers under aged shot wounded

Peshawar: FC firing injures two under age brothers in Shinwari area of Landikotal on Friday night. The seriously wounded brothers were rushed to Agency Headquarter Hospital Landikotal. One of the bruised brothers was refereed to Peshawar due to his critical health condition, their uncle Syed Nawaz Shinwari told media.

Syed Nawaz Shinwari told media at the hospital that he along with his two under age nephews identified as Abdul Rahman and Abdul Rahim son of Muhammad Nawaz respectively 8 and 14 years old were on their way home from Landikotal bazaar when the security forces opened indiscriminate ,unprovoked and illegitimate firing on their cab near White Mosque at Ash Khel area of Shinwari in Landikotal.

He said that their cab was on normal speed, adding that security forces had allegedly not given any signals to stop. He strongly condemned the security forces personnel for indiscriminate firing and wounding his very younger nephews. He demanded of the government high officials to probe the incident and punish the alleged shooters.

Security Forces sources pleaded that the soldiers had signalled the car to stop but that was not stopped which was followed by firing.

Peoples Youth Organization’s general secretary Danish Shinwari while strongly flaying the horrible incident, asked the Governor KPK and Commandant FC to hold an inquiry to punish the alleged shooters for injuring the innocent under age brothers.

The local people have also expressed their regret on the incident asking the government to direct the forces to ensure lives and properties security of the public rather than to do them harm. This incident has spread a wave of terror in the area.

Whereas on the other hand the local political administration has kept silence over the incident of the wounding of the two brothers. The local people have condemned the negligence of the political administration to maintain law and order and to protect the people and their properties.
