Peshawar: Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Science & Technology and head of Awami Jamhoori Ettihad, Sharam Khan Tarakai personally received public complaints in the Chief Minister Complaint Cell on Wednesday and issued on the spot directives to the concerned quarters for their immediate redressal. He was assisted by the Chairman of the Cell, Al-Haj Dil Roz Khan and Vice Chairman Mukarram Khan Afridi.
Shahram Tarakai, besides receiving public complaints on telephone calls also read the complaints received through email, fax and by post and issued necessary instructions to the concerned quarters and departments for their redressal.
Talking to people he said that all the government departments will have to improve their service delivery and admirably discharge their duties of public services otherwise there was no justification for paying salaries to such officials who could not fulfil the public aspiration adding that such white elephants causing burden on the public exchequer would be sent home while the dutiful and active employees would be encouraged.
He urged upon the public to keep close eyes on the quality of work in developmental schemes, performance of government departments and to cooperate with the govt in improving service delivery by registering their complaints in the complaint Cells set up in all districts or directly in the Chief Minister Complaints Cell in case of any irregularity.
