Peshawar: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has expressed his profound feelings of sorrow over the incident of violence in the protest demonstration in district Kohat against the tragic incident of Rawalpindi. He has also expressed his heartfelt feelings of grief over the loss of precious human lives including police personnel’s and civilian in the incident. In a statement issued here, the Chief Minister has appealed to the people to stay peaceful, keep close eyes on miscreants and to cooperate with the law enforcing agencies to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the area.
He has also appealed to the Ulemas to play their important role to cool down the situation and maintain law and order. He has termed the killing of police personnel’s and civilian as sorrowful and said that our country and specially the province had already been suffering from deteriorating law and order situation and the law enforcing agencies as well as the civilian had suffered from heavy loss of human lives adding that we cant afford riots and violence any more.
It is very pity that law-enforcing personnels are being targeted that protects the lives of all of us; lamented the Chief Minister. Meanwhile he has directed the administration and law enforcement bodies to take all necessary measures to control the situation and protect the lives and properties of people.
