PTI is determined to eliminate corruption and nepotism


Peshawar: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Higher Education, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani has said that PTI led provincial coalition government is determined to make the province free from corruption, mismanagement, nepotism, injustice and other social evils.
He said, this was a great challenge for the government but under the dynamic and courageous leadership of Imran Khan and committed cooperation and participation by the youth, the government would be successful to overcome all the evils prevailing in the society.

This he said while addressing 3rd convocation ceremony of Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar. The Director of IM Sciences Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan also spoke on the occasion. VC of University of Peshawar, faculty, staff members, parents and large number of students were also present.

Mushtaq Ghani further said that prosperity and development were not possible without peace and quality education. He said all of us should be committed to work hard unitedly for achieving lasting peace that could lead to sustainable development and progress.

He said youth particularly educated youth were the hope for the bright future of our nation. He said only youth could put the nation on right track and get the people rid of the present miseries, he added.

Mushtaq Ghani said education, health and justice for all were the top priorities of the present government that was why the government had allocated Rs. 500 million as endowment fund for those brilliant students who due to poverty could not afford to get admission for higher studies in the educational institutions. In order to impart training and research to faculty of higher educational institutions, 150 scholarships would be awarded on merit, he disclosed.

The Director of IM Sciences Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan while speaking on the occasion said that merit, transparency and open door policy was the hall mark of the institution. He said team work, innovation and knowledge exchange was highly valued in the institution.

He said IM Sciences had also established the centre of excellence in human resources development, public policy and enterprise development and with the collaboration of World Bank, UNDP, USAID, DFID and Provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, theory was put in practice in research.

The Director further said that success of the IM Sciences in management sciences became possible due to support of Board of Governors, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly Higher Education Department, Higher Education Commission, faculty and staff members, he concluded.
